Can a Deleted Google Account Be Traced? After deleting your Google account, you may want to restore the account if you regret it. If you deleted the account for a long time, the account might not be recoverable. If only for a short time, you might be able to recover a deleted Google account.

Google does not tell users how long the Google Account has been flagged for deletion. If you want to recover a Google account, you should do it as soon as possible.

Please note that even if you recover your account, you may not be able to recover your Google Account data. However, you can use your account to sign in to Gmail and other Google services that require your Google account to sign in.

 

How to recover a deleted Google account?

The one and only way to recover your Google account is to go to the Google account recovery page.

Step 1: Go to the Google account recovery page. Enter the login email address or phone number and click Next.

If you get messages like “This account has been deleted and cannot be recovered or Cannot find your Google account or Please try again, ” you can no longer recover this account.

Step 2: You will be asked questions to confirm that this Google account is yours. Answer as many questions as possible. If you don’t know the answers of questions, try inviting one. You must prove ownership of the account.

You may be asked to give a contact email address to submit a verification code. Please ensure that the email address you provide is valid and accessible. You may also be asked additional questions.

Suppose you’ve completed the account recovery steps and still get the “Google couldn’t verify that this account belongs to you” message. In that case, you can repeat the recovery process to see if you can recover the account.

 

Is it possible to trace a deleted Gmail account and find the IP address of the previously logged-in device on this device?

At the very least, when a Gmail account is deleted, it is publicly deleted. It may leave traces of the address if used for something else. Inside the headers are IP addresses, one of which *might* be a source address. However, an IP address only identifies a device and often for a limited time.

Can the police track a deleted email account?

They cannot track an email account if the mail server is not under their jurisdiction. If that’s the case and they can show a probable cause, they can likely track an active account. How to Recover Deleted Emails in Gmail in 30 Days?

Method 1. Recover Deleted Emails via “Mail & Spam & Trash.”

Gmail’s Mail & Spam & Trash option can be beneficial for finding emails in spam. It is better to check your e-mails on a computer rather than via a mobile application because some features are unavailable in the latter.

Step 1. Open Gmail on your computer. In search box, click the down arrow.

Step 2. Select the “All Mail” drop-down menu, then select “Mail & Spam & Trash.”

Step 3. Enter some information from the missing email. For example, “From whom” or “To whom.” (Here, we take Google as an example.) If unsure of the exact words or details, leave the fields blank.

Step 4. Click “Search” at the bottom of the box. Then all your deleted emails will be displayed. You can quickly recover them.

Method 2. Recover Deleted Gmail Emails by Editing/Removing Filter

You may create a filter that automatically archives or deletes certain emails. You can check your filter by doing the following:

Step 1. Open Gmail in a browser. Go to the “Settings” icon at the top right and select “Settings.”

Step 2. Click on the “Filters and Blocked Addresses” tab at the top. Look for filters containing the words “delete” or “skip the inbox.”

Step 3. Click “Edit” or “Delete” on the right. If you choose Edit, click Next to edit the filter.

Step 4. Uncheck Skip Index and Delete, then next Update Filter.

Step 5. If you select “Delete”, select “Delete” > click “OK” to confirm.

Method 3: Recover Deleted Emails from Gmail Trash Folder

Some users may have hidden Gmail trash cans, which will help you unhide them and recover deleted emails in Gmail from the trash.

Step 1. Open your Gmail account and log in > click “Settings” > “Labels” > “Display”. It will bring up your Trash in the left pane of the Gmail window.

Step 2. Now you can see all deleted e-mail files in the Trash folder. Select or highlight the emails and files you want, then click the email icon with the words “Move to” at the top of the window to move your deleted emails to the inbox.
